![]() ![]() ![]() Two of these undead was found here: A ghoul called Crypt Stalker in the northeast and a spectre called The Unforgiven in the fortress in front of the portal. According to Orthanc there were five undead of such evil that their souls had crystallized. To forge a powerful weapons powerful souls of undead were needed. The rune warrior then rushed inside the fortress and was able to take over the fortress and to defeat the lich inside the inner fortress. However he had shut down the gates of the fortress and only by slaying the five Commanders of Korshar these gates would open up. During the Battle of Fiara this fortress was the main base of Korshar's army of undead in SpellForce: The Order of Dawn.Īfter the future Phoenix Bearer had defeated Zihar in the Greydusk Vale, she traveled through the portal to the Howling Mounds to confront Korshar himself. The Howling Mounds once had been a former fortress of the Iron Falcons in the Darklands but it was destroyed and devastated during the Convocation. For the quest see The Howling Mounds (Quest). This was until I leveled up a lot and then there was the problem.Note : This article is about the location Howling Mounds. Breaking as what I played: Dawnguard - I did finish it with both a mage(ice and fire) and a melee fighter who had black magic to weaken my enemies(at the end it was melee lvl 10 magic lvl 7) Breath of Winter - again used the same as above without problems at all Shadow of the Fenix (did never finish, went until level 48 I think.) - I went with a mage(ice and fire), the area spells were great to deal damage to armies and any bosses were easy to kill while frozen. Therefore even if you possitined your armies well you will lose a whole lot since you cant control the battle. To make it even better, at this moment gates open and your armies get swarmed by enemies, but since you are dead the game goes into a loading screen and you respam after some minutes of time passes. ![]() Game bug:There is a scene in Shado of the Fenix where you get attacked in the scene and the developers did forget to make you imortal, so by the time you get to control your character you are already dead if you are a mage. If you lose your mage out of sight just once or get ambushed you are dead. A hero with this sort of skill set I described is a one man army and you don't have to babysit him as much as a sorcerer hero but instead you can push faster through enemy waves or camps simply because punching in the face of Brannigans followers does not have a cast time like all the damage spells. Go for nature in white magic so you can summon the thorn shield, the enemy will get damaged everytime he hits you and recieve the stagger effect, on higher levels thorn shield yields insane damage output results while doing great stun combos if you hit hard and fast enough. My tip is to max out heavy weaponry and invest spare points in white magic since white magic consumes the least amounts of attribute points. In terms of damage output per second a heavy weapons hero tops everything else, also you get to very high numbers in health points which also is a positive aspect, furthermore the dankest armor is also available for heavy duty players. That's when a warrior comes to save the day. It becomes even worse in Breath of Winter, where strong bosses are no longer optional, heh. ![]()
